<br />after the historic wheel that existed near the site. The purpose of the
<br />project is to divert water from the LA Riverand create an aesthetic/
<br />educational statement, showing that the LA River can be used as a
<br />source of water, enhancing the connections with the community, and
<br />provide a viable long-term water source for neighboring parks.
<br />1-210 Soundwalls, Supplemental Environmental Report
<br />(NBSSR) and Plans, Specifications and Estimates Phase III, City
<br />of La Canada Flintridge, CA. Engineering Services Group Leader for
<br />the design of three separate soundwalls along the 1-210 freeway. The
<br />project has included soundwall design along a hillside slope, several
<br />edge of travel ways, and over bridges. As part of this design, the
<br />project has involved significant coordination with the City of La Cafiada
<br />Flintridge, Caltrans, and the design team.
<br />ADA Ramp Program, City of Long Beach, CA. Senior Program
<br />Manager for the overall management and design of the curb ramps for
<br />the City's ramp program. To date, her team has designed approximately
<br />185 ramps throughout the city of Long Beach.
<br />Pacific Coast Highway Traffic Congestion Relief Project, Dana
<br />Point, CA.* Senior Project Managerforthe pedestrian bridge and
<br />widening of Pacific Coast Highway from the San Juan Creek Bridge to
<br />Crystal Lantern. This multi -award -winning project for the widening
<br />that turned a 4-lane facility into a 6-lane facility. The project consists of
<br />preparing environmental documentation; widening the roadway to six
<br />lanes; coordinating with (altrans and obtaining an encroachment permit;
<br />designing offsite improvements, including a pedestrian bridge over PCH,
<br />bus stop relocations, and new bus stop turnouts, and improvements to
<br />the maintenance yard for Doheny Park State Beach; designing drainage
<br />structures; and preparing a Storm Water Management Plan.
<br />Staff Augmentation, City of Long Beach, CA. Provided plan
<br />check services as needed for a variety of projects ranging from
<br />roadway rehabilitation, parking lot replacement, site demolition, alley
<br />improvements, and beach stairway replacement projects.
<br />Staff Augmentation for Design Support and Construction
<br />Engineering Services (TOS No 111), City of Los Angeles,
<br />CA.* Senior Project Manager and Program Managerfor the overall
<br />management of the TOS 111 Staff Augmentation Program. Anissa
<br />provided design support in the form of both onsite and offsite design
<br />staff for approximately 10 ATP grant -funded projects.
<br />Rosecrans Avenue Arterial Improvement Project, City of
<br />Gardena, CA.* Project Manager for this $4-million, Measure R funded
<br />project. The project consisted of work across the entire width of the
<br />right-of-way along the 2-mile length of this major arterial crossing the
<br />city of Gardena. Project work included removal of the center turn lane
<br />pavement, installation of raised medians, stamped colored concrete,
<br />landscaping, irrigation, driveways, sidewalks, curb ramps, traffic
<br />signal improvements, mill and overlay asphalt concrete pavement,
<br />and signage and striping. The work required close coordination
<br />with the owners of multiple fuel pipelines and other underground
<br />facilities within the project boundaries and with adjacent business and
<br />residential property owners and tenants.
<br />North Gaffey Beautification Project, Phase II, The Port of Los
<br />Angeles, CA.* Senior Project Manager for the multidiscipline team for
<br />planning, outreach, and PS&E services for the multi -modal pathway
<br />linking North Gaffey Street to the Port of Los Angeles Waterfront
<br />path. The project included the design of a 1,500-LF pathway along
<br />the existing railway corridor and under the 1-110 overpass and
<br />included landscaping, lighting, security cameras, and water quality
<br />improvements.
<br />Complete Streets Program, (TOS 38), City of Los Angeles, CA.*
<br />Senior Project Manager in support for PS&E of the City's Complete Street
<br />Program that intended to implement Vision Zero, green infrastructure
<br />elements, and the rehabilitation of 22 miles of roadway. This is the first
<br />phase of a multi -phase program to be designed and constructed within
<br />the next two years. Meticulous planning and coordination were needed
<br />to manage the multiple design teams, disciplines, and City departments
<br />to achieve the City's goals, objectives and aggressive schedule.
<br />Glendale -Hyperion Complex of Bridges Improvement Project,
<br />City of Los Angeles, CA.* Program and Senior Project Manager for
<br />the PR and PS&E of this challenging multi -million dollar project for
<br />the rehabilitation and widening of the complex of seven bridges by
<br />improving the existing local roadways and freeway ramp alignment,
<br />increasing the seismic strength, addressing water quality and
<br />incorporating elements for all modes of travel including a new
<br />pedestrian bridge crossing the Los Angeles River. Improvements
<br />include widening the Glendale Boulevard bridges, realigning the 1-5
<br />northbound off -and on -ramp, adding a pedestrian bridge over the
<br />Los Angeles River, retaining walls, traffic signals, drainage system
<br />improvements, infiltration basins and improving pedestrian facilities.
