Subhash works seamlessly with clients, subconsultants, and stakeholders while
managing small and large water supply projects for stormwater, groundwater, and
recycled, and advanced water systems. He is counted on by engineering firms to lead
structural services for complex contracts with the San Francisco Public Utility Commis-
sion, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, County of Los Angeles, and
City of Los Angeles, because of his excellent structural engineering capabilities. Subhash
is lauded for his ability to evaluate discreet alternatives, innovative design recommen-
dations, and knowledge of local, state, and federal code requirements and regulations.
Experience
Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS), Orange County Sanitation and
Water Districts, Fountain Valley, CA. Principal structural engineer for design and
construction of the microfiltration process facility and control room, microfiltration
break tank/reverse osmosis transfer pump station, microfiltration backwash waste
equalization tank, and generator building. GWRS provides purified recycled water
for aquifer recharge to replenish supplies and to prevent seawater intrusion.
Civil Engineers Anaheim Lake Valve Vault, Orange County Water District, Anaheim, CA. Principal
structural engineer providing design services for a valve vault that will enable Dis-
trict staff to gain access to several pipeline connections should emergency repairs
be necessary. The project replaced two valves and included the construction of
a vault that will house a total of five valves. The five valves include two 48-inch
butterfly valves requiring replacement from the Warner Pipeline to the Anaheim
Pipeline, two additional existing 48-inch valves that connect Warner Pipeline to the
Atwood Channel, and one 72-inch valve that allows the District to distribute water
received from Metropolitan Water District deliveries via OC-28 to the Anaheim
Pipeline.
East Portal Force Main Isolation Structure, City of San Diego, CA. Principal struc-
tural engineer for modifying two corroded below -grade sewer force main struc-
tures. The project involved the construction of a new 46-foot-long by 24-foot-wide
by 45-foot-deep below -grade concrete structure adjacent to the existing east portal
structure to isolate the two existing force mains. The new structure included two
slide gates, an intermediate floor level, and a roof slab cover. The roof slabs are
precast concrete planks, giving access to the structure's interior.
City
22-0021May24,2 Ana Resources Division 1 B-43 ] / ARDURRA
RFP 22-002 May 24, 2022
