Scope of work includes documenting field condition, preparing <br />two (2) space planning options, client meetings to discuss preferred design option, and providing a final space <br />plan. <br />Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), Los Angeles, CA: Metro requires a Tier 1, <br />Tier 2 and Conditions Assessment at nine (9) Metro parking garages to be completed within a 10-week time <br />frame. As Project Manager, Shelly worked with the Agency and in-house IDS team to ensure project objectives <br />and goals were met. Scope included site visits, pre -assessment, data collection, review of as-builts, identification <br />of short- and long-term needs, cost analysis, and facility evaluation reports. <br />Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), Recycling -Repair Yard Relocation, Los Angeles, CA: To make way for the <br />Taxiway D Extension project at LAX, an existing Airport Maintenance Yard required relocation from the north <br />side of World Way West to the south side. This yard included an existing but un-permitted steel roof canopy <br />structure to be relocated. IDS developed a material testing program (based on ASCE 41 procedures) necessary <br />to obtain a building permit for the relocated canopy structure for the recycling sorting area. Expedited project <br />design and construction was required. Shelley worked with the in-house structural, electrical, and civil <br />engineering teams to redesign the masonry wall/bunkers for storage of sand and gravel, canopy, storage racks <br />and container. <br />Municipal Water District of Orange County Facility Upgrade, Fountain Valley, CA: Shelley was the Project <br />Manager and Interior Designer. Project scope -of -work included space planning, structural upgrades, interior <br />fixtures, and finishes.
