The city retained the IDS team to rehabilitate and <br />replace the HVAC systems for the eleven -story, 221,963 sf office building. <br />Inland Empire Utility Agency (IEUA) RP-1 Primary Clarifier, Inland Empire, CA: Lead Mechanical Engineer. The <br />Inland Empire Utility Agency decided to install a new scum pipe system in the Primary Clarifier at RP-1. Darren <br />prepared mechanical and plumbing construction drawings as part of the effort for the power connection for ten <br />new actuators, single line diagram, panel schedules and load calculations. <br />Orange County Sanitation District (OC SAN) Motor Cooling Improvements at Plant No. 2, Fountain Valley, CA: <br />Mechanical Project Manager reduce the overheating experienced on the three main sewage pumps at the <br />Effluent Pump Station Annex (EPSA) facility at Plant No. 2 when operated at lower than design speeds. The <br />concept is to install fans to the motor exciters and to the existing motor radiator systems. Physical work includes <br />installation of the fans, addition of thermal sensors, ducting, conduit, wiring, fan supports, appurtenances, and <br />modifications to SCADA for a complete system. <br />Orange County Sanitation District (OC SAN) Elevator Evaluation and Recommendations at WSSPS & ESSPS <br />Facilities, Plant No. 2, Fountain Valley, CA: Lead Mechanical Engineer who oversaw the team to review, <br />evaluate and provide recommendations, repairs/replacements for two existing freight elevators at WSSPS and <br />ESSPS facilities at Plant No. 2. Project scope involved field survey, as -built drawing review, and building code <br />compliance.
