<br />As a Principal Engineer for Ninyo & Moore, Mr. Yoshii provides principal oversight
<br />on geotechnical evaluations and materials testing and inspection for residential,
<br />commercial, and public facilities, including correctional facilities, schools, hospitals,
<br />highways, railroads, pipelines, and bridges; oversees geotechnical analyses including
<br />slope stability analyses, flexible and rigid pavement design, and underground pipeline
<br />design; reviews geotechnical reports, and provides geotechnical design parameters
<br />and recommendations for grading and earthwork, shallow and deep foundations,
<br />retaining structures, and in -situ ground remediation; oversees the soils and materials
<br />laboratory operations and provides supervision and technical support to project -level
<br />engineers and geologists; as well as provides expert witness services on litigation
<br />projects.

<br />City of Anaheim/On-Call Consulting Support for Public Works Development
<br />Services: Served as Project Manager providing geotechnical engineering design,
<br />environmental consulting, and materials testing and inspection services during
<br />construction of various capital improvement projects. Services included soil
<br />engineering, testing and inspection — soil engineering includes preliminary site
<br />investigations for roadway and buildings, including foundation design, excavation and
<br />backfill, water mains, pavement design, and other geotechnical recommendations for
<br />the design or construction of City facilities.
<br />City of Anaheim, On -Call Consulting Support for Public Works Development
<br />Services: Principal Engineer for the as -needed plan check services of various
<br />Anaheim projects. This contract included geotechnical consulting services for the
<br />review of plans, studies and reports. Our services included third -party reviews of
<br />geotechnical reports and plans to evaluate if the plans were in conformance with
<br />the recommendations of the geotechnical reports, and that the geotechnical reports
<br />appropriately addressed the geotechnical site conditions. One task order involved
<br />geotechnical consulting services for the peer review of the liquefaction potential
<br />analysis of an approximately one -acre vacant site being evaluated for residential
<br />development.
<br />City of Rancho Santa Margarita, On -Call Geotechnical and Materials Testing
<br />Services: Served as Principal -in -Charge for the on -call geotechnical engineering
<br />consulting and material testing services of various City projects. Services included
<br />geotechnical observation and materials testing services for various construction
<br />projects including numerous pavement rehabilitation projects, pavement slurry
<br />seal, and drainage improvements and third -party review of geotechnical reports,
<br />emergency observation of slope failures resulting from heavy rain events.
<br />City of Newport Beach On -Call Geotechnical Engineering Servces: Principal in
<br />Charge for providing on -call geotechnical and materials testing for various capital
<br />improvement projects to support the City of Newport Beach work staff. Services
<br />include conducting geotechnical observation and field testing during various types
<br />of projects, observation and testing of street subgrade, aggregate base, asphaltic
<br />concrete (AC), Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) materials; perform compaction
<br />testing of various materials; preparing geotechnical engineering reports such as
