<br />EXPERIENCE
<br />Fire Station No. 1, Costa Mesa, California: Served as Senior Field Technician
<br />providing geotechnical observation, materials testing and inspection services during
<br />the construction of the Costa Mesa Fire Station No. 1 project. The project included
<br />new construction consisting of a new, single -story firehouse and apparatus bay,
<br />storage building, trash enclosure, masonry site wall, concrete and asphalt concrete
<br />pavement, fuel tank, emergency generator, storm drain, sewer, water, dry utilities,
<br />sidewalks and driveways.
<br />Laguna Beach Village Entrance Improvements, Laguna Beach, California:
<br />Senior Field Technician retained for materials testing and deputy inspection services
<br />during construction of the Laguna Beach Village Entrance Improvement Project.
<br />The project included two new bridges, partial reconstruction of one bridge, widening
<br />of one bridge, a prefabricated building and new retaining walls. The construction
<br />included installation of 12 cast -in -drilled -hole (CIDH) concrete piles, concrete footings
<br />and abutments, precast concrete deck and girders, steel girders, concrete over metal
<br />decking, wing walls, tubular railing, cable railing, concrete barriers and masonry
<br />walls. The project also included a soldier pile debris wall with steel "H" piles and
<br />wood lagging. Our scope of services included mix design review, deputy inspection,
<br />concrete sampling, and laboratory testing. The deputy inspection services included
<br />concrete, welding and masonry inspection. Our laboratory services included masonry
<br />components and concrete compressive strength testing. Testing was performed in
<br />accordance with ASTM test methods.
<br />Huntington Beach Union High School District, Westminster High School
<br />Pool Replacement, Westminster, California: Senior Field Technician retained
<br />to provide materials testing and special inspection services during construction of
<br />the Westminster High School Pool Replacement project in Westminster, California.
<br />The project consisted of alterations to the existing pool equipment building, and
<br />construction of a new 40-meter pool and three shade structures. Services included
<br />sampling and testing of structural concrete, including checking slump, temperature
<br />and casting a set of concrete cylinders. Special inspection services were provided
<br />for shotcrete and welding. Our laboratory testing included rebar bend and tensile and
<br />concrete compressive strength testing. Testing was performed in accordance with
<br />ASTM Test Methods.
