Project Manager for multiple capital projects and policies, <br />including an ADA transition plan, standards updates, Pacific Coast <br />Highway relinquishment, signal maintenance contract oversight, a <br />street lighting policy review, CIP master scheduling, wastewater master <br />plan review and a plan review of the Civic Center project. <br />OC-9 Transmission Pipeline, City of Huntington Beach, CA. <br />Project Manager for installation of more than 15,000 LF of 32-inch- <br />diameter PVC and ductile iron water transmission pipeline. The project <br />installed a corrosion protection system, a new distribution pipeline and <br />new fire hydrant assemblies. The cost was approximately $12 million. <br />Circle Way Storm Drain and Stair Repair, City of Laguna Beach, <br />CA. Principal -in -Charge for $1-million beach access improvements <br />project. Oversaw design and construction process. Project upgraded <br />the 18-inch-diameter reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) storm drain to <br />a 60-inch RCP with an aesthetically treated flap gate at the ocean <br />outlet. In addition, the project made improvements to the hilltop stairs <br />accessing the beach, installed a continuous deflective separation (CDS) <br />urban runoff diversion, moved water lines and sewer pipelines and <br />upgraded landscaping, irrigation and electrical. <br />Clean Water Program, City of San Diego, CA. Construction <br />Manager responsible for all activities associated with change and claims <br />management for the $10-billion clean water program. The program <br />included the construction of new wastewater and recycled water <br />pipelines, treatment plants, energy facilities, lift stations and tunnels <br />throughout San Diego County. Responsibility also included monthly <br />reporting and quality control. <br />Lift Station No.2 Pump Replacement, South Coast Water <br />District, City of Laguna Beach, CA. Principal -in -Charge for the <br />design engineering of the District's main sewage lift station. The facility <br />collects wastewater from South Laguna Beach and conveys it to the <br />South Orange County Wastewater Authority Treatment Plant. The <br />project evaluated replacement of two pumps and motor assemblies. <br />On -Call Engineering Services, City of Lake Forest, CA. Principal -in <br />Charge for this multi -year contract providing staff augmentation <br />services. Responsibilities include municipal engineering, development <br />land use application and permit plan review, public works inspection, <br />capital improvement project design, construction management and <br />inspection, and water quality program management. <br />Waterline Replacement Program, City of Bell Gardens and <br />Paramount, CA. Design engineer responsible for many of the City's <br />water distribution main replacement projects,including design of <br />ductile iron and PVC distribution mains, fire hydrant placement, water <br />services and other appearances. <br />Sewer Assessment District No.195, City of Norco, CA. Project <br />Manager/Design Engineer responsible for 80 miles of sewer collection <br />pipelines installed to alleviate reliance on underground septic facilities. <br />Sewer Collection System, City of Laguna Beach, CA. Project <br />Manager responsible for the design and construction of over30,000 <br />LF of new collector sewers to re-route plumbing systems from <br />unmaintainable residential lots. <br />Los Robles Area Sewer Reconstruction, City of Laguna Beach, <br />CA. Project Manager for this sewer rehabilitation project, responsible <br />for design and construction of abandonment of over 7,500 LF of existing <br />sewers in easements along private property and the construction of <br />new sewers in the public right-of-way fronting the properties. The <br />project was extremely challenging in that each individual private <br />residence had to be"re-lateraled"to the new public sewer in the street. <br />Belmont Shore Sewage Lift Station, Long Beach Water <br />Department, Belmont Shore, CA. Project Engineer (Lead Design <br />Engineer and Construction Manager) responsible for this lift station <br />rehabilitation project, which included a new building, a modern <br />telemetry system, three 250-horsepowervariable speed powered pumps <br />and the construction of a temporary lift station to provide service while <br />the new lift station was being constructed. This lift station rehabilitation <br />project, located in the heart of the Belmont Shore community, was <br />implemented to facilitate the increased wastewater flows generated by <br />the upstream communities of Naples and South Long Beach, <br />Five Grade Separation Engineering Plan Check, Orange County <br />Transportation Authority, Orange County, CA. Water, sewer, <br />drainage plan checker responsible for risk analysis, plan review, <br />and extensive coordination. Responsible for quality assurance and <br />reviewing other design teams' plans for constructability, bidability, <br />and cost efficiency as well as adherence to local agency requirements. <br />The project design criteria review addressed BNSF, Metrolink, AREMA, <br />three cities, one county, the transportation authority, the flood control <br />district, and several utilities'specifications. Ardurra was responsible <br />for providing constructability reviews for the utilities including sewer, <br />water, bridges and roadway PS&E of five grade separation projects in <br />the BNSF/Metrolink Corridor through Placentia, Fullerton and Anaheim <br />at Orangethorpe, Lakeview, Tustin/Rose, Placentia and Kraemer. <br />South Laguna Streetscape and Pedestrian Improvements, <br />City of Laguna Beach, CA.
