PHASE 2: PERFORMANCE <br />Perform Monitor Quality Complete <br />Deliverables <br />Work Progress Control Task Order <br />Team Continuity • Project Controls - Meeting Deliverables/ <br />Communication Milestones Schedules <br />Budget <br />In the Performance Phase, the RICK Team will: <br />♦ After negotiating the scope of work and fee and receiving the task authorization, collect <br />the necessary project data, as appropriate, to perform the task. <br />♦ During the process of performing the task, the design team will prepare preliminary <br />designs/investigations (e.g., preliminary design alternatives, reports, estimates, exhibits, <br />etc.) that can be used by the City to make key decisions or to support alternatives. <br />♦ Monitor project schedule, including key scope, and adjust schedule after completion of <br />each task. <br />♦ Meet regularly with City staff and other consultants, as needed, to discuss project status, <br />potential issues, value engineering, and review deliverables, including PS&E, as the <br />project progresses to completion. <br />♦ Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews at each milestone of the task order. <br />♦ Control and manage scope changes. We will maintain a "Log of Unresolved Issues' <br />document to be discussed and resolved with the City at any time during the project. <br />♦ Hold plan review meetings at key milestones/submittals, and obtain concurrence/ <br />resolution of comments. <br />♦ Respond to pre -bid inquiries, review bids, make award recommendations, and provide <br />construction support. <br />Approach to Quality Assurance and <br />Quality Control Program <br />RICK has a well -established quality control plan that we have used for D r <br />many years. The success of our past projects, and their reputation for 1\ 1 C v <br />being trouble -free, demonstrates the effectiveness of this plan. <br />RICK adheres to a continual emphasis and commitment to quality <br />control through every phase of project development assignments <br />for in-house personnel and sub -service providers.
