Federal Student Aid Programs <br />This institution participates in federal financial aid programs with approval from the U,S. <br />Department of education Higher Education Act of 1965 to participate in Title IV funding. <br />State Student Aid Programs <br />This institution does not currently participate in state financial aid programs. <br />Federal Pell Grants —Are awarded to eligible undergraduate students; those that <br />haven't earned a bachelor's degree or graduate degree.The amount of money awarded is <br />based on a student's Expected Family Contribution (EFC) to help the student with <br />tuition costs. Disbursements of these funds will be applied to your student account if you <br />are eligible. <br />William D. Ford (WDF) Federal Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans <br />— have annual loan limits, based on the student's dependency status and grade level and <br />must be repaid <br />Subsidized — Is a loan program available to undergraduate students that demon strate <br />financial need.The subsidized loan is to assist students with educational costs; the <br />student is not required to make payments or pay the interest during at least half-time <br />attendance; however, interest will begin to accrue on the first day after the last day of <br />attendance. <br />Unsubsidized — Is a loan program available to students based on cost of attendance; <br />who may not qualify for a subsidized WDF loan, Pell or for students who may qualify for <br />only partial subsidized WDF Ioan.The terms and conditions are the same as the <br />subsidized WDF loan, except that the borrower is responsible for the interest that <br />accrues while the student is in school and during the grace period for the duration of <br />the loan. <br />Both entrance and exit counseling are requirements of the WDF Federal Direct Loan <br />Program. Students must be enrolled in NTMA's certificate program to receive the loan <br />and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). <br />PLUS Loans for Parents — Is a credit based loan program to assist parents of <br />undergraduate dependent students with educational costs, Like the unsubsidized WDF <br />loan, the interest in not subsidized by the government.
