<br />of Santa Ana, Public Works (Completion: 06/2021; Value: $7.6 million) —
<br />The San Lorenzo Sewage Lift Station Project consists of construction of the
<br />following: lift station —below ground dry and wet wells; aboveground CMU
<br />block building; three (3) 15 hp dry pit sewage pumps; piping, fittings, valves,
<br />flow meter, in -line grinders, rail and hoist system; HVAC, ventilation and
<br />ducting; electrical and instrumentation; site grading and improvements; 560
<br />(LF) of 15" gravity sewer pipe; 190 (LF) of 12" gravity sewer pipe; 545 (LF) of
<br />10" force main; sewer manholes and appurtenances; and abandonment of
<br />existing Segerstrom Lift Station.
<br />Document Control, EW-1 Well Equipping Project; Fullerton, CA; Orange
<br />County Water District (Estimated Completion: September 2017)— EW-1,
<br />which is located on private property in Fullerton Industrial Park, the project
<br />included rehabilitation and redevelopment of the well, completing construction
<br />of the wellhead, installing a submersible pump and shroud, and constructing
<br />piping and a connection to a nearby OCSD sewer trunk line in State College
<br />Blvd. for discharge of the pumped groundwater. The Butier Team is
<br />coordinating with OCWD, the Contractor, and the property owner's
<br />association to select an acceptable temporary piping route to the nearest
<br />storm drain. In addition, a grade separation project is being constructed
<br />concurrently in State College Blvd. adjacent to Fullerton Industrial Park. The
<br />Butier Team is the main point of contact between the Contractor and the City
<br />of Fullerton, OCTA and OCSD, to assist in coordinating project construction
<br />activities.
<br />Field Engineer, 8 MG Peck Reservoir Replacement Project; Manhattan
<br />Beach, CA; City of Manhattan Beach (Completion: 04/29/2022; Value:
<br />$31.1 million) —The Butier Team is providing construction management,
<br />inspection, public relations, environmental impact monitoring, and
<br />soils/materials testing services. The scope of work includes construction of
<br />the following: 8 MG partially -buried cast -in -place concrete reservoir 270 feet
<br />long by 190 feet wide; 925 SF Operations Building for office space and water
<br />quality laboratory; 1,950 SF cast -in place concrete Pump Station and
<br />Electrical Control Building; 3,000 SF of water treatment facilities, including
<br />two (2) horizontal filtration tanks, a protected chlorine and ammonia chemical
<br />storage building, and a glass -fused bolted steel vertical back wash tank;
<br />ancillary facilities, including diesel standby generator, transformer, yard
<br />piping, access vaults, infiltration drywells, retaining wall, access road,
<br />pavement, fencing, gates, and landscaping; and replacement of raw water
<br />transmission pipeline, construction of chemical dosing and containment
<br />piping, new sewer discharge pipeline connection, new utility connections, and
<br />new curb, gutter, and sidewalks.
