Mr. Arizabal has a broad background <br />of professional experience, focusing on multimodal transportation <br />PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS <br />planning and traffic engineering, and specializing in site access/ <br />Institute of Transportation Engineers(ITE) <br />circulation, transit planning, corridor studies, parking management, <br />American Society of Civil Engineers <br />(ASCE) <br />complete streets application, and traffic impact analysis. <br />Orange County Traffic Engineering <br />Council (OCTEC) <br />Relevant Experience <br />City of Santa Ana General Plan Circulation Element Update, Santa Ana, <br />CA <br />Mr. Arizabal is leading the technical effort to assist the City of Santa Ana in updating <br />their General Plan Circulation Element. The update is being conducted to incorporate <br />Complete Streets policies into the Element and to reflect current planning efforts <br />for the Streetcar in the City. The update is focused on rethinking the City's <br />transportation network, focusing on moving people rather than cars, and making City <br />streets safer for all users of the transportation system. <br />Port of Long Beach (POLB), On -Call Transportation Planning, Long <br />Beach, CA <br />Led a team that was selected to help support the Port's functions in three primary <br />categories: transportation planning/traffic engineering, transportation modeling, and <br />data collection. <br />Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), State Route 55 (SR 55) <br />Access Study, Costa Mesa, CA <br />Served as the primary staff in the analysis and identification of alternative <br />transportation strategies through the Newport Boulevard (SR 55) corridor, from <br />the current terminus of the SR 55 freeway south to 16th Street in Newport Beach. <br />Facilitated cooperative effort between OCTA, Caltrans, Costa Mesa, and Newport <br />Beach. <br />Mount San Jacinto College Menifee Campus Master Plan, Menifee, CA <br />Served as lead technical analyst for the preparation of a Traffic Impact Study in <br />support of an Environmental Impact Report for the proposed community college in <br />Menifee. <br />Century Boulevard Reconstruction Project, Inglewood, CA <br />Mr. Arizabal served as the primary technical analyst on the Century Boulevard <br />Reconstruction Project on behalf of the City of Inglewood and the Los Angeles <br />County Metropolitan Authority.
