ArEsco <br />AESCO Proposal No. P6513 <br />Statement of Qualifications <br />Auto Center Drive/BNSF Railroad Grade Separation -Corona <br />Quality Control Manager: Mr. Scharlin was the Quality Control Manager for the geotechnical and <br />materials testing and inspection services for the project which was for Riverside County <br />Transportation Commission and the City of Corona. The project consists of constructing a four -lane <br />overcrossing at Auto Center/BNSF railroad tracks. Construction required a bypass roadway, <br />associated roadway improvements, retaining walls, storm drain, sewer line, utilities, and CIDH piling <br />foundations. <br />Olinda Landfill -Gas to Energy Facilities — City of Yorba Linda, County of Orange <br />Quality Control Manager: Mr. Scharlin was the Quality Control Manager for construction materials <br />testing and inspection services during construction of the gas to energy facilities at the Brea-Olinda <br />landfill for the City of Yorba Linda and the County of Orange. The facilities included the installation <br />of gas turbines mounted on concrete slabs, a combustion turbine generator, chilled water systems, <br />polishing systems, compressed air systems, a step-up transformer, switch gears, axillary <br />transformers, a main building and control room, trenching and piping, and miscellaneous structures. <br />New access roads were also constructed. <br />Warner Avenue Gravity Sewer Lift Station C — City of Huntington Beach <br />Quality Control Manager: Mr. Scharlin was the Quality Control Manager for the construction <br />materials testing and inspection and for the geotechnical and environmental Phase II investigations <br />for a new lift station facility. The project consisted of the replacement of the existing Lift Stations B <br />and C and the Sunset Beach Sanitary Lift Station with a new Lift Station C. The submersible lift <br />station incorporated a 14 foot by 26 foot by 22 foot deep wet well. The bottom of the well <br />foundation was approximately 26 to 27 feet below existing grade. The new lift station also included <br />an 8-foot deep valve vault which was 15 feet by 10 feet in plan dimension, a 60 kW outdoor <br />generator, and electrical panels. <br />Ranger Sewer Lift Station No. 16 — City of Huntington Beach <br />Geotechnical Engineer: Mr. Scharlin was the Geotechnical Engineer for the geotechnical <br />investigation and the materials testing and inspection for construction of Ranger Sewer Lift Station <br />No. 16 in the City of Huntington Beach. The new lift station was 24 feet by 24 feet in plan dimension <br />and was placed at a depth of 18 feet below the existing ground surface. <br />State College Boulevard Grade Separation -Fullerton <br />Quality Control Manager: Mr. Scharlin was the Quality Control Manager for the replacement of the <br />at -grade railroad crossing by construction an underpass for State College Boulevard beneath the <br />existing BNSF railroad. The City of Fullerton and the Orange County Transportation Authority <br />(OCTA) constructed a vehicle undercrossing at the intersection of State College Boulevard and the <br />Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. The roadway was lowered between Santa Fe Avenue to the <br />north to approximately 500 feet south of Valencia Drive to the south. Construction consisted of a <br />temporary railroad shoo -fly, a railroad bridge, retaining walls, a pump station, pavement and <br />utilities reconstruction.
