Rigorous Budget Control — Provide biweekly construction budget updates to City Project <br />Manager <br />Maintain Schedule — Provide weekly schedule updates and ensure contractor complies <br />with project schedule requirements <br />Resident and Business Satisfaction — Provide initial project flyers and periodic updates to <br />businesses and residents affected by the project; set up project hotline for high profile CIP <br />projects that impact a significant number of citizens; ensure project is well maintained and <br />project traffic controls are installed per project plans, CAMUTCD, and City requirements <br />Project Approach <br />Willdan's approach to construction management starts with assigning the appropriate staff to fit <br />the assignment's needs. For construction projects, the primary team members will include a <br />construction manager and the project inspector. Our management team will work closely with <br />the City's Project Manager to assign the most qualified individuals to each project. To achieve <br />these goals, Willdan's approach to management and inspection of the City's construction <br />projects includes: <br />• Thorough review of project specifications and plans <br />• Initial set-up of project -specific construction management files <br />• Identify and address key project issues prior to start of construction <br />• Agree on project -specific quality assurance program <br />• Identify and coordinate with outside utility agencies and/or permitting agencies impacted by <br />the projects <br />• Arrange preconstruction meeting and process RFIs and submittals in a timely manner <br />• Maintain detailed project records and provide weekly/monthly reports <br />• Arrange weekly project meetings to review and address project issues <br />• Provide qualified inspectors to closely monitor contractor's work and progress <br />• Provide detailed inspection reports of developer/contractor's daily activities <br />• Promptly respond to resident and business complaints and questions <br />• Provide final project close-out documents conforming to City, Willdan, and other concerned <br />parties <br />There are many routine aspects that are common to the way every construction project is <br />performed in terms of construction administration and inspection of development, permitted, <br />and capital improvement projects as outlined in our scope and in the diagram below: <br />Construction Management Process <br />Assist the Client Prepare Conduct <br />Start of Constructability with Public Construction Pre -Construction <br />Project Review Awareness File Meeting <br />Q^a Gs= ona <br />Log, Track, Conduct Weekly Routinely Review Project Deliver all <br />and Process Meetings and Construction Closeout Construction <br />Construction Provide Weekly Files to Ensure Files and <br />Documentation Reports to Client Conformance to Supplies to Client <br />Client Standards <br />Aqo/ On -Call Construction <br />Management and Inspection Services 7 <br />
