McFadden Ave, Suite I, South at Harbor <br />• Santa Ana Police Department 1.9 miles southwest <br />of project site <br />Schools <br />Recognizing that access to education for the <br />community is very important to the City, SYRUSA <br />will closely coordinate with the following schools <br />near the Project prior to work that may disrupt the <br />school commutes: <br />• REACH Academy Community Day Intermediate <br />and High School, adjacent to the south border of <br />the Project site <br />• Santiago High School, about 4000ft Northwest of <br />the Project site <br />• Leroy L Doig Intermediate School, about 3500 ft <br />Northwest from the Project site <br />• Orangewood Academy, about 3500ft Northwest <br />from the Project site <br />• Fremont Elementary School, 2500 ft Southeast <br />from the Project site <br />• Godinez Fundamental High School, 3002 <br />Centennial Rd, Santa Ana, CA 92704 <br />0 Community Services <br />During the Project construction, SYRUSRs team will <br />maintain access to: <br />• Santa Ana River Trail <br />• Fairview Triangle Park <br />• Jerome Community Center, about 1.5 miles south <br />of the Project site <br />Pedestrian and Bicyclist Access <br />During construction, pedestrians and bicyclists will <br />be detoured away from the Fairview Street bridge <br />to the 17th Street bridge to cross the Santa Ana <br />River by way of the Santa Ana River Trail (SART) <br />between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., when <br />the gates to the SART are open and unlocked. After <br />hours, pedestrians and bicyclists wishing to cross <br />the Santa Ana River will be detoured to adjacent <br />Santa Ana streets such as King Street. <br />Pedestrian detours during construction are: <br />Stage 1—along King St <br />Stage 2— along King St, looping W. 16th and N. <br />Huron Dr. <br />Stage 3— along West side of new bridge <br />®Santa Ana River Trail Access <br />During Construction <br />Construction of the proposed Project would require <br />temporary closures of a portion of the SART <br />for the demolition and placement of the bridge <br />superstructure. The SART includes a Class I bike <br />path on the eastern side and a regional riding and <br />hiking trail on the western side. The portion of the <br />SART affected by project construction will need to <br />be temporarily closed four times for approximately <br />eight hours each time for two summer periods in <br />order to place the precast concrete girders. During <br />these periods, SART users will be detoured, and <br />signage will be provided to display the dates of the <br />closures and to identify the detour routes.
