A motion by Alderman seconded by Grubb that the foreEoin8 report be referred to the Oity Hoard of Education with the instruction that the Hoard take immediate action in the pren!ees ,and that the ~chool Hoard be directed to close up and ~ot use the two upper rooms was lost by the following vote to-wit: Ayes:-Alde~man and Grubb. On motion duly seconded and carried the 0ity Attorney ia directed to draft an ordinance chan~inG the names of certa~n~resta in the city of Santa Ans. # On motion duly eecond~d and carried, Ohampion's Gas Appliance Store is directed to install a ~as heater in the city Hall at a cost not to exceed $48.00. on motion of Alderman ,seconded by McPhee and carried, a committee consisting of Trustee Alderman and Sup~rintendent ReAd are named to meet with the ~outhern Counties Gas ~ompany and arrange to have the slidin~ scal~ apply ~or the use of gas by the 0ity Hall,Library, ~ire Department and ~ity Jail, and that definite arrangements b~ ,t'de in r~ference to the cost of gas used at Water Works .
