In Re <br /> <br />Protest,paving W.2nd St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />~onth~y reports <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bide for fire hose <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids for drilling well <br /> <br /> Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and ca, tied, referred <br /> to the Board as a committee of the whole ~nd report <br /> Monday May 14th. <br /> <br /> A petition signed by property owners owning property <br /> on West 2nd St. between Roes and Shelton sro. protest- <br /> ing a~ainst paving above portion of Street under Speci- <br /> fications ~2 at the present time, was read and on motioz <br /> of Trustee MoPhee that the Board rescind its former <br /> action in ordering said portion of Street improved and <br /> to reimburse the contractor for any money expended on <br /> same was duly seconded by Trustee Greenleaf and csmried. <br /> <br />The monthly reports of the Building Inspector, Recorder <br />Fire Chief, and Marshal were on motion of Trustee Tubbs <br />duly seconded, by Greenleaf, and carried, referred to <br />the Auditing Committee. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee <br />and carried, the Clerk was instructed to proceed to <br />open bids received for furnishing the City with 500 <br />ft. of fire hoes, the following bide were opened. <br /> <br /> Republic Rubber Co. 500 ft. Tower brand, double <br />Jacket, P.C. standard couplings, complete~o.b. Santa <br />Aha, ............... SO cts. <br /> <br /> Boston Woven Hose & Rubber Co.
