The application of J.A.Preston for the a~polntment as a Police Officer, was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf,duly ~eoonded ~y NoPhee, ordered filed. The application of Merced Perez for a license to open the Spanish ~itchen, was on motion of Trustee ~cPhee, referred to the City Marshal. The application of W.W. Hey for the a~pointment to the position of City Engineer to fill the vacancy soused by the Resignation of C.C. Bonebrake, was on motion of Trustee McPhee,duly seconded by Greenleaf, application accepted and ordered filed for future reference. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf,duly seconded by McPhee, the Committee appointed in reference to investi~ating the High- way Transportation Co., was continued. In the matter Scott Prather this City of the a.p~llcetion of Mil lard Foster and for permission to operate a stage line between and Tustin, was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by HoPhee, set 7:3o p.m. On motion of Trustee McPhee, the Board as a committee of for hearing Dec. 16th,191g,~t duly second, sd by Green]ea~, the whole was continued as a committee in reference to absndoning part of Spurgeon. of llth St. East The monthly reports of the Building Inspector, Recorder, ~lre Chief, ~ar~hal, were on motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt, referred to the Finance Committee.
