Schute of the Salvatio ~rmy in reference to having a municipal wood yard to handle the hobo question, was on motion of Trustee McOhee, duly seconded by ~arystt, accepted and ordered filed. In Re The communication from the Southern Ce. Gas Co., inr eference to So. Co Gas Co. the certified statement of earnings stating that same would be filed at as early a date after Jan.lst,1919, as it is possible, on motion of TrusteeNoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the communication was ordered filed for future reference. In Re A report submitted by the M. & N.$ssociation ~n reference to the Freight and express application of the Highway Transportation Co. and the Highway trans~ortstion report of Express Co. for permits to carry freight and express into and '~.& ~. Association from this City, suggesting that no further permits be granted at this time in addition to those a/ready granted, and further sugacstin& that such concerne should be required to furnish proDer bonds to insure their responsibility in case of fire or other accidents, mnd that a sufficient compensation should be realized by the City for the use of streets by such express and freight companie£. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by ~aryatt, the report was endorsed by the Board as submitted and ordered file In the matter of the application of Millard Foster and Scott Prath In Re for permi~elon to operate an automobile stage line between Jitney hearing, Foeter~Pr3ther Santa Aha and Tustln, set this date for hearing, was on motion of Trustee ~aryatt, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, by the following vote, Ayes, Trustees Tubbs,~cPhee, Greenleaf, Naryatt, and ¥isel, Noes, Trustees None, Permission was granted as asked for,for a period of one year from this date.
