Present, Trustees Chapman, Dale,~nd Greenleaf. Absent, Trustee, Tubhs Minutes of Oct. 6th were approved as rea~. In Rs Communication Electrical Products Corporation Letter of apprecistion from Cot[us Christi In Re R.R.Oommlssion hearing Electric utilities In Re Communication pertaining to North Main St. W.L.Grubb In Re Special Police school Janitors In Re Permit to hang A communication from the Electrical Products corporation in reference to illuminated speed signs. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale same was ordered placed on file for future reference. # A letter from the General Relief 0ommittee of Corpus Ohris~ Texas, a~knowledging the receipt with thanks of a contribu- tion from this city of $250.00, was read and on motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Chapman, same was ordered placed on file. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale,the notice of re-setting the date of the hearing in the matter of the practice of electric utilities as to extension of service was ordered filed for future reference. A communication from W.L.Grubb in reference to the matter pertaining to conditions on North Main et. was read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman, same was accepted and placed on file. The request from the school board that the Janitors of the various schools of the city be appointed a~ special police- men for the protection of school property was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman, referred to the Police committee. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale, the request of the Rohertson Electric Co. to hang an electric sign for the Rowley Drug Co. at 4th and Main Sts. wu referred to the City Electrician with power to act, same to comply with City Ordinances governing electric signs.
