Fair As~ . <br /> <br /> A protest was presented si~ned by property owners on <br /> Bristol Street between l~th St. and the City limits <br /> protesting against the paving of that portion of said <br /> street and including same in the proceeding covering <br /> improvement of Bristol Street from 5th St. North. <br /> <br /> Mr. L. E. Martin, representing the Northwest Improve <br /> <br /> ment and Development Ae~istion pointed out the <br /> of <br /> advantages of improvement/Bristol Street by paving <br /> <br /> through to City limits to connect with proposed County <br /> road. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by <br /> <br /> and carried, action of Sept. 14th ordering Droceedln~s <br /> for the improvement of Bristol Street from 5th Si.to( <br /> City Limits was rescinded and recommendation made to\ <br /> the interested parties to present petition asking for <br /> paving of Bristol St. from 5th to 1Vth only, with the <br /> assurance that that portion of Bristol from l~th St. <br /> to the City limits will be improved to conform with <br /> any improvement made by the CoUnty north cf t he City <br /> limits. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Purinton, seanded by 'Collier and <br /> oarrled, Street Superintendent was instructed to rebuil~ <br /> dip on the gast side of Mdn Street at Edinger. <br /> <br /> . <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Collier, seconded by McPhee and <br />carried, matter of market at 5th and Patton Streets <br />was referred to the City Attorney and Chief of Police <br />to make personal tnvesti~ation and if, in their belief <br />there is a nuisance, Attorney will file ac~ on to aba <br /> <br /> same . <br /> <br />Mr. Mention a~peared before the Board representing <br />~roperty owners and residen%s South of the City and <br />presented a petition for the annexation of certain <br />territory lying between Main and Bristol and Edinger <br />and Delhi Road, said petition being signed by 90% of <br />electors residing in the territo~,y~sought to be m hexed <br />On motion cf Trustee Chapman, seconded by NcC"nee and <br />carried, Petition was accepted and Committee composed <br />of the Board as a whole, City Engineer, W~er Superinte <br />dent ,nd City Attorney appointed to make necessary <br />investigations and report back in two weeks. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Purinton and <br />carried, Orange County Pair Association was granted <br /> <br />free electric inspection, permlt and incidental charges <br />in Connection with wiring exhibition tent. <br /> <br /> <br />
