No. 2080 <br /> <br />Calling Election <br /> <br />North Flower Addition. <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />~ay~r of tl~e City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />A petition was presented by Jas. A. Smiley and others, <br />signed by more than 28% of the qualified electors, for <br />the annexation of territory known as the North Flower <br />Addition. A resolution was introduced resolving that <br />petition was filed in pursuance to the Act of the <br />Legislature and that the territory so proposed to be <br />annexed to the City of Santa Ana is inhabited territory <br />and i~s contiguous to the City of Santa Ana. The reso- <br />lution was filed, read, considered, designated Resolu- <br />tion No. 2079 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees W.J. Kelly, Homer.C. Chaney, Stanley E. <br /> Goode, F.L. Purlnton. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees J.L. McBride. <br /> <br />A resolution was introduced calling a special election, <br />ordering the submission to the electors of a certain <br />inhabited territory contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, <br />the question of whether or not that certain territory, <br />known as the "North Flower Addition" shall be annexed <br />to the City of Santa Ana. The resolution was filed, <br />read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2080 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees W.J. Kelly, Homer C. Chaney, Stanley E. <br /> Goode, F.L. Purtnton. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees J.L. McBride. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chaney, seconded by Goode and car- <br /> <br />ried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, March 25th, <br />1929, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br /> <br />
