G. Warner. <br /> <br />369 <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Hasenjaeger <br /> carried, the deed from Charles H. Baldwin and Esther M. <br /> Baldwin, his wife, covering a certain p~ece of property <br /> on Towner Street between Falrview and Russell, for street <br /> purposes, was accepted and the Clerk instructed to have <br /> same recorded. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by McBride and <br /> carried, the protest of Mrs. Tillie Holgate, 408 <br /> <br /> Street, against the noise made at the Moose Hall located <br /> at Fourth and Spurgeon, was referred to the Chief of <br /> Police and Trustee Warner. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br /> carried, the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign an <br /> agreement with G. G. Boyd covering the transfer of one <br /> Harvey Davidson Motorcycle to the City of Santa Aha, <br /> classified as an emergency vehicle under the Motor Vehicl <br /> Act of the State of California. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by McBride <br /> carried, the application of Firestone Incorporated for <br /> the removal of additional curb on First and Main Streets, <br /> was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the petition of residents and property owners <br />to change the name of Stafford Street to Eighth Street <br />and the name of Vance Street to Ninth Street was'denied <br />for the reason that it disarranges the street numbers <br />on the east end of the streets. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger <br /> carried, Trustee E. G. Warner was appointed a special <br /> police officer of the City without pay. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Witmer, seconded by HasenJager and <br /> carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, June 22nd <br /> 1931, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br /> <br />
