On recommendation of the Taxicab Oomiss!on and on motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Pe~n and carried, the applica- tions of Harvey G~eenleaf and Thomas m~,.ett Davis to drive taxicabs for C. F. Eddleman, were granted. . On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and carried, the Health Heport for ~he months of ~uly, August and Septem- ber was referred to the Finance Committee. On motion of Trustee srun~, seconded by Rowland and Sa~ried, the Clerk was instructed to notify the Armistice Day Cele- bration Committee that the City of Santa Aha would send the Santa And Municipal Band to participate in the Celebration and had decided not to enter a float. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, F. W. Lockhart was reinstated as a specxal police officer of the City o~' Santa And on recommendation of the Chief of Police, Police Commissioner and Bistrict Attorney's office. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the Clerk was inatructe~ to advertise for bids for the City Hall to be located at Third and Main Streets, according to plans and specifications prepared by Austin & Wildman, Architects; olds to be opened November 19th, 19~4. # On motion or T~ustee ~enn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the City Attorney and Chief of Police were instructed to advise the Board of Equalization the facts and findings in the case of the People vs. Ray 0. Stapp, proprietor of the Icehouse at 1428 N. Main Street. An Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance of the City of Santa aha regulating the Use and prohibiting the Obstruction of Public Highways and Sidewalks" was fXnally read, considered, designated OrdiD-~ce No. 1004 and passed by the following vote: Aies, Trustees A.F. LeGaye, Fred C. Howland, W.H. pl,~mmer W. Bruns, E.~. Warner. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees None. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn ant carried, the City Council adjourned.
