Santa Aha City Hall. November 19th, 1934. 7:30 P.M. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Warner. Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaya, W.H. Penn, Plummet W. Bruns, E.G. Warner. Absent: Trustees Fred C. Rowland. Minutes of meeting of November 5th were approved as read. In Re Meeting--Orange County League of Municipalities. In Re Meeting of Orange County Coast Assn. In Re Communication S.A. Public Library, In Re Request--American Assn. of University Women. In Re Communication--Calif. Congress Parents & Teachers. In Re Application--Community Players Organization. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the communications inviting the Council to attend the Orange County League of Municipalities ~n La Habra November 22nd, 6:30 P.M., *t the'Women's Clubhouse, was received and all members urged to attend. . On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the communication of the Orange County Coast Association with reference to their meeting at Laguna Beach, Birdts Cafe, November 20th at 6:30 P.M., was received and the mem- bers of the Council urged to attend the meeting. ,, On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the communication of H. L. Hanson, Secretary of the Library Board expressing appreciation for the furnishing Of mat~ for the waterproofing and painting of the Public Library building, was received and filed. , On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the request of the Orange County branch of the American Association of University Women for the use of the Bower's Museum on the evening of December 13th, was granted and the Clerk instructed to notify Mrs. Maurine L. Scott of the action taken by the Council. ,, A communication was read of the California Congress of Parents and Teachers expressing its gratitude and apprecia- tion for the use of the Bowers' Memorial Museum on October 26th and urging the Council to open the Museum to the pub- lic and employ a curator and nms~odian. On motion of Trus- tee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the communication was referred to the Museum Board and the Clerk instructed to acknowledge communication. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded b~ Penn and carried, the application of the Community!:Players Organization of Santa Aha requesting permission to the Bowers' Museum for
