Santa Aha City Hall. <br /> <br />November 19th, 1934. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Warner. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaya, W.H. Penn, <br /> Plummet W. Bruns, E.G. Warner. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br />Minutes of meeting of November 5th were <br /> approved as read. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Meeting--Orange County <br /> <br />League of Municipalities. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Meeting of Orange <br /> <br />County Coast Assn. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />S.A. Public Library, <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Request--American <br /> <br />Assn. of University Women. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication--Calif. <br /> <br />Congress Parents & Teachers. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application--Community <br /> <br />Players Organization. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the communications inviting the Council to attend the Orange <br />County League of Municipalities ~n La Habra November 22nd, <br />6:30 P.M., *t the'Women's Clubhouse, was received and all <br />members urged to attend. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the communication of the Orange County Coast Association <br />with reference to their meeting at Laguna Beach, Birdts <br />Cafe, November 20th at 6:30 P.M., was received and the mem- <br />bers of the Council urged to attend the meeting. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the communication of H. L. Hanson, Secretary of the Library <br />Board expressing appreciation for the furnishing Of mat~ <br />for the waterproofing and painting of the Public Library <br />building, was received and filed. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the request of the Orange County branch of the American <br />Association of University Women for the use of the Bower's <br />Museum on the evening of December 13th, was granted and the <br />Clerk instructed to notify Mrs. Maurine L. Scott of the <br />action taken by the Council. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />A communication was read of the California Congress of <br />Parents and Teachers expressing its gratitude and apprecia- <br />tion for the use of the Bowers' Memorial Museum on October <br />26th and urging the Council to open the Museum to the pub- <br />lic and employ a curator and nms~odian. On motion of Trus- <br />tee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the communication <br />was referred to the Museum Board and the Clerk instructed <br />to acknowledge communication. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded b~ Penn and carried, <br /> <br />the application of the Community!:Players Organization of <br />Santa Aha requesting permission to the Bowers' Museum for <br /> <br /> <br />
