Project Park & Forestry Work. vicinity of the dance halls but that zzuch of the complaint was exaggerated and that the dance hall proprietors were endeavoring to run legitimate and orderly halls. ,, On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the following Resolution was adopted: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF sANTA ANd that the Mayor and City Engineer of said City be and they are hereby authorized to make and file an application with the State Emergency Relief Administration for approval of a project to install 3428 feet of sewer as follows: 1100 feet of 6 inch Sewer & 2 manholes on Washington Ave- nue from Artesia Street to English Street. 890 feet of 8 inch Sewer & 3 manholes on Hawley Street from Fifth to Eighth Streets. 722 feet of 6 inch Sewer & i manhole on Eighth Street from English Street to Hawley Street. 714 feet of 6 inch Sewer & 2 manholes on Sixth Street from Hawley Street westward. The City accepting and agreeing to all S.E.R.A. conditions governing such projects and to furnish equipment and super- vision only. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Sant~ Ana at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of December 1934. E. L. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the.following Resolution was adopted: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that the Mayor and City Engineer of said City be and the are hereby authorized to make and file an application with the State F~mergency Relief Administration for approval of a project to build retaining wall at Jack Fisher Park; grade parkways, shoulders, gutters; remove and plant trees; build new and renew old fences on Santa Ana Boulevard; lay drain pipe and build sumps at City Bowl and do general landscapin in parks and parkways, the city accepting and agreeing to all S.E.R.A. conditions governing such projects and to fur- nish equipment and supervision only.
