In Re Committee on Sewer Project. · ~P P ROVED: Mayor o~ the City of Santa Ana' Roll Call: Ayes, Trustees A.F. LeGaye, Fred C. Rowland, W.H. Plummet W. Bruns, E.G. Warner. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees None. Penn, On motion of Trustee Bruns~ seconded by Penn and carried, the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to investi- gate the necessity of installing sewers on West Washington, Hawley Street, Eighth Street and Sixth Street. Trustees Bruns., Rowland and Penn were appointed as the committee. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, the City Council Santa Aha City Hall. January Vth, 1955. ?;30 P.M. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Warner. Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, Fred C. Rowland, W.H. Penn, Plummet W. ~Bruns, E.G. Warner. Absent: Trustees None. Minutes of meeting of December 17th were approved as read. In Re Commun~ ation-League of Calif. Municipaliti.es. In Re President's Birthday Ball. In Re Request J. W. McCormac. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn~ and carried, the communicstion of the League of California Municipalities requesting Santa Ana's continued help in making their maga- zine "Western City" a futt~re success, was received and filed ,, On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried the Mayor was authorized to appoint a committee to assist him with preparations for the President's Birthday Ball to be held January 30th, 1938, for the purpose of raising fund ar~i carrying on research work and aid the control of infan- tile paralysis. ,, On motion of Trustee Burns, seconded by Rowland and carried, the request of J. W. McCormec of tb~ Orange County Business College fc~ permission to display announcements of courses
