No. 2389 <br /> <br />Funds for 1915 Street <br /> <br />Improvement Bond Delinquencies. <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br />ried, the commnunication of Associated Chambers of Com- <br />merce of Orange County with Resolution supporting the <br />Elliott Plan attached, with reference to water conserva- <br />tion, was referred to the City Attorney for investigation. <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carrted, <br />the application of Cham L. Coleman to use the storeroom <br />located at Fourth and Birch Streets for his Gospel Mission <br />was referred to the Police Commissioner and Chief of <br />Police for investigation and report back. <br /> <br /> were presented. <br />Initiative petitions/signed by approximately 3600 regis- <br /> <br />tered qualified electors of the City of Santa Ana request- <br />ing the City Council to repeal Ordinance No. 794 of the <br />City of Santa Ana, providing for the levy and collection <br />of a tax not exceeding twelve cents on each One Hundred <br />Dollars, for the purpose of music and advertising, by <br />submitting the repeal of Ordinance No. 794 to the vote of <br />the people at a special election to be held August 28th, <br />19~4. On motion of Trustee Bruns, sec c~ded by Rowland <br />and carried, the initiative petitions of registered voters <br />were referred to the Clerk for checking. <br /> <br />A Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana, determining that the public interest and necessity <br />demand the procuring of funds for the purpose of invest- <br />ment on the part of the City of Santa Aha in 1915 Street <br />Improvement Bonds now delinquent and outstanding, obliga- <br />tions of said City, and that the cost thereof would be <br />too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income <br />and revenue of the Municipalit~? <br /> <br />was finally read, considered, designated Resolution No. <br />2389 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees A. F. LeGaye, Fred C. Rowland, W. H. <br /> Penn, Plunnner W. Bruns, E. G.
