Diehl, Chairman of the Taxpayers' League, pre- sented an economy program resolution for the adoption of the City Council and after lengthy discussion by members of the City Council and people in the audience, the of Trustee LeGaye to adopt the resolution presented, was lost for lack of a second to the motion. In Re Answers of E. G. Warner & W. H. Penn to the Recall. As a member of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana I have been served by A. G. Diehl, Chairman of the Tax- Payers League, with a document reading in part as ~llows "To E.G. Warner and william Penn, members of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, Califomia. Take Notice that it is the intention of the undersigned to submit a petition to the voters and taxpayers of the City of Santa Ana for their signatttres addressed to the Board of Trustees of said City demanding that said Board call an election for the recall of E. G. Warner and William Penn, m~mbers of said Board." "The grounds of the aforesaid recall are as follows: 1.
