Nain St. <br /> <br /> Gilbert-Weston-Stearns, Inc. permission to install an <br /> electric sign for the Le Roy Gordon Beauty Salon at <br /> 427 N. Sycamore St. <br /> <br /> Allen-Trusty & Sons, p~ rmissicn to install an electric <br /> sign at 210 E. 1st St. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and cart <br />· the rsports of the City 0ffi cers for the month of August, <br /> <br /> 1934, were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> On mo~ion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and <br /> carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants <br /> accordtng to the demands audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee B~uns, seconded by Rowland and <br /> carried, permission was granted the Junior College to <br /> use the Bowers Museum on the evening of September 21st. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and <br /> carried, delinquent assessment in amount of l..~l.25 on <br /> Santa Ana Valley Irrigation water stock in connection <br /> Bowers Museum, was ordered paid. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by Penn and carrie( <br /> the application of Sam Sharkey for permission to erect a <br /> stand for the purpose of selling f~uit on property locate( <br /> at 104 N. Main Street, was denied. <br /> <br /> A Safety Proclamation presented by Mayor Warner was read <br /> and on motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and <br /> carried, was endorsed by the Council. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by Bruns and carri~ <br />and on recommendation of City Engineer and City Attorney, <br />the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to execute agreement <br />with Southern Pacific Company covering installation of a <br />six inch sewer pipe under their tracks at Stafford Street <br /> <br /> <br />
