Nudd, President of the Sou- <br />thern California S~phony Association, regarding a campaign <br />to raise $125,000.00 for continuation of the Symphony 0rches <br />tra, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the request of Dr. Jas. Parrage for a credit on his water <br />account for ~ater sccidently lost when a water heater burst <br /> <br />and flooded his basement, was referred to Trustee LeGsye, <br />v:ith power to act. <br /> <br />On motion of 'l'r~zstee Rowland, seconded by Bruns and carried <br />the application of the Boy Scouts of f~serica for permission <br /> <br />to conduct their soliciting <br /> <br />the week of October 14th to <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and <br />the request of Alex Brownridge, Csmpaign Chairman, <br /> <br />campaign for ~6000.00 dtr lng <br />20th, 1934, was granted. <br /> <br />carried, <br />for the <br /> <br />Ruth Home, <br /> <br />the local <br /> <br />campaign to solicit the sum of .~8100.00 during <br /> <br />of October 8th to 18th, 1934, was granted. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of Chas. G. Twist for the Church of the <br />~essiah and others, requesting that the zone at 610 Bush <br />Street be chanaged from First Class Apartment Zone to <br />Neighborhood Business Zone, was referred to the Planning <br />Commis sion. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of Byron Miller for permission to drive a <br />taxicsb for C. F. Eddleman was referred to the Taxicab <br /> <br /> Crippled Children's Society of Orange County and <br />Salvation Army for permission to conduct the~ <br /> <br /> the period <br /> <br />Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />
