Projects. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the complaint of E. E. Frisbey, Sanitary Inspector, and the <br />recommendation of the Forestry Board to have the small build- <br />ing located in the northeast corner of Birch Park, removed <br />on account of sanitary conditions, were referred back to the <br />Forestry Board for checking and report back with recommendati <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, and <br />on recommendation of the Planning Commission, the property <br />located at the northeast corner of Fifth and Shelton Streets <br />was ordered posted for special uses and the joint hearing <br /> <br />date was set September 3rd, <br />application of Frank F. Ey, <br /> <br />1935, in accordance with the <br /> <br />Jr. to erect service station. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Street Commiesioner and on motion'of <br />Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the application <br />of the 20/30 Club for a permit to construct a Bowling Green <br />in ~antiago Creek Park, was referred to the Forestry Board. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, <br /> <br />the communication of S. V. Cortelyou, <br />the State Department of Public Works, <br />funds had been allocated to the State <br /> <br />seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> District Engineer of <br /> stating that Federal <br /> of California, for <br /> <br />improvement of streets within municipalities and that proJect~ <br />should be filed before August 2~rd, was referred to the Stree <br />Commissioner, Water Commissioner snd City Engineer. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />Trustee Smith was appointed to represent the City at the <br />annual Tournament of Lights at Newport Beach, Saturday evenin <br />August 2~th to take the place of Mayor Rowland. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the bid of the 0rsnge County Reporter as submitted for City <br />Advertising for the coming year in the amount of .G0~ per <br />inch for ~ll advertising, was accepted and the Attorney was <br />instructed to prepare the necessary contract to cover. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the recommendation of the Purchasing Agent was approved that <br />quotations as submitted by all of the City printers be accep- <br />ted and that he be authorized to make equitable distribution <br />of the work amohg the various printers for the coming year. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the ~yor Pro Tem and City Clerk were directed to sign the <br />necessary documents for ~hool Crossing Work and display and <br /> <br /> <br />
