Nielsen was appointed a <br /> Notor Police Officers of the City of Santa Ana as of August <br /> <br />~ On motion of Trustee ~enn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana, California, fixing <br /> ~the amount of money ascertained to carry on the various <br /> departments of the City of Santa Ana, and to pay the bonded <br /> indebtedness falling due for the current year 1938-37, and <br /> fixing the rate of taxation for the current year 1938-37, <br /> designating the number of cents on each $100.00 for the vari- <br /> ous funds Of said City, on the whole of the taxable property <br /> of said City as set by the County Assessor of the County of <br /> Orange, S. tate of California, and equalized by the Board of <br /> Supervisors of said CountT, and here~y levied on the whole <br /> of the taxable property of said City." <br /> <br /> was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for <br /> second reading. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the <br /> City Council adjourned to Monday, August 24th, 1938, at 7:30 <br /> P.M., in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br /> <br />
