Council Oh-mbers Santa Aha City Hall. October llth, 1937. 7:30 P.M. City Council met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order byMayorRowland. Present: Trustees pl,,mr~r W. Brune, Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland. Absent; Trustees None. In Re Application Julian Helm. In Re Application Emmett C. Rogers. In Re Communication Townsend Club #2. In Re Meeting--Executive Board of J.O. Sewer. In Re Amendment of Building Code. InRa Oommunicatlon Or. Ce.Distribution Service. # There being no w~itten or oral protests, on motion of Trust~ Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the application of JulL~ Heim for a permit to erect a duplex at 2305-07 Bush Street or on Lot 17, Block E, Tract 139, was referred to the Plannin Commission for recommendation. At the request of the Plan- ning Commission action was deferred until the next meeting. # Oral protests having been presented and heard against the application of Emmet C. Rogers to construct a duplex at 1302 N. Bristol Street, described as the south 48 feet of Lots 41 and 42, Tract 758, and on motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the application was referred to the Planning Commission for recommendation. At the request of th CQmmlssion action was deferred until the next regular meeting On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the communication of Gertrude L. Grant, Secretary of Townsend Club #2, expressing thanks for the use of Birch Park this summer and the installation of the public address system, was received, acknowledged and filed. # On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the'communication of Grover L. Walters, Secretary Executive Board Joint Outfall Sewer, relative to the Executive Board meeting to be held October 13th at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber, City Hall, Anaheim, was received, acknowledged and filed and the council, City Attorney and Engineer instructed to attend the meeting. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the communication of Harold Rasmussen, Building Inspector, recommending that the City Council adopt the 1937 Uniform Building Code, was referred to Trustee Penn to report back at the next meeting. On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Brune and carried, the communication of the Orange County Distribution Service requesting careful consideration of the proposed ordinance
