Logan. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Reports on <br /> <br />Santa Ana Boulevard. <br /> <br />to prchlbX~, the distribution of all free advertising matter <br />within the City of Santa Aha, was referred to the Council as <br />a whole to be considered next week. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign a pipe line <br /> <br />license with the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company <br /> line <br />covering the pipe/located on their right of way extending <br /> <br />from the Capitol Company building to Fourth Street, subject <br />to the approval of the City Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruna, seconled by Penn and carried, <br />the demand of Mrs. L. P. A~exander for the amount of $585.00 <br />for damages for alleged personal injuries received while <br />wa~ng east on the north side of E. Walnut Street, Was <br />r~ferred to the City Attorney to investigate and report back. <br />. <br /> <br />There being no written or oral protests, on motion of Truste~ <br />~mith, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of <br />James G. Smith to erect a four unit apartment house on the <br />northeast corner of Eighth and Garnsey Streets and also a <br />four unit apartment house on the northwest corner of Eighth <br />and Garnsey Streets, fas referred to the Planning Commission. <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion <br />Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the applica- <br />tion of James G. Smith was granted and the City Attorney <br />instructed to prepare the Ordinance changing the zone on a <br />portion of Lots 15 and 16, Keese's Addition and on Lot 23, <br />Wakeham Tract, from single family residence zone to first <br />class apartment house district zone. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the report of the Taxicab Commission was received and the <br />application of C. H. Eckles, operator of the Santa Aha Bus <br />Service, was granted, to make the changes in his bus routes <br />as requested in his letter of October Ath, 1937. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the application of Rev. S"nas. A. Logan for a free permit to <br />hold charity dances on the third Saturday of each month in <br />the K.C. Hall for the benefit of the Mexican Catholic Church <br />was granted on recommendation of Police Commissioner & Chi, <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Smith and carried, <br /> granting of the <br />the oral report of Trustee Penn favoring the/application of <br /> <br />W.C. Kester to erect a twelve unit auto court on Santa Aha <br />Boulevard immediately east of the Gilmore Oil Compa4y's dis- <br />tributing plant, was received and the written report of Trus- <br />tee Stuns on the same matter was received and ordere~[' made a <br /> <br /> <br />
