<br />Present: Trustees W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton,
<br />Joseph P. Smith, Plummet W. Bruns, Fred C. Rowland.

<br />Absent: Trustees None.
<br />
<br />Each Trustee having received a copy of the Minutes,
<br />further reading of the Minutes of October lSth, 1937,
<br />was dispensed with and the Minutes approved on motion
<br />of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried.

<br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Smith and carried,
<br />
<br />the following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br />"An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana prohibiting the
<br />distribution of handbills, dodgers, circulars, newspa-
<br />pers, booklets, and other printed matter or advertise-
<br />ment in certain places: repealing Ordinances in conflict
<br />herewith, and providing for penalties for violation
<br />thereof."

<br />was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1053 and
<br />
<br />passed by the following vote:

<br />No written or oral protests having been received, on motion
<br />of Trustee ~mith, seconded by Layton and carried, the matter
<br />of rez0ning the Northeast corner of Washington and Bristol
<br />Streets, described as Lots 18, 19 and 20, Tract No. 883,
<br />Neighborhood Business Zone to Single Family Residence Zone,
<br />was referred back to the Planning Commission.
<br />
<br />On motion, of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried,
<br />the property described as Lots 18, 19, and 20, Tract No. 863
<br />was ordered rezoned from NeighbOrhood Business Zone to Single
<br />Family Residence Zone and the City Attorney instructed to
<br />prepare the necessary Ordinance to change the zone.

<br />Sihgle Family Residence Zone in the southwest part of the Cit
<br />A motion was made by Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn, that
<br />the matter of changing zone on the property described as that
<br />portion of the City of Santa Ana bounded on the West by the
<br />City Limits, on the north by Fifth Street, on the East by
<br />Townsend Street, on the North by First Street, on the East
<br />by Bristol Street, on the South by Monte Vista Avenue, on the
<br />West by Sullivan Street and on the South by Myrtle Street,
<br />excepting Lots 1, 2 and 3, Tract No. 259, be held over for
<br />two weeks, A substitute motion was made by Trustee Smith,
