Lumber Co. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Federal Music Project. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Flake Smith. <br /> <br /> seconded by Bruns and carried, that the matter be referred <br /> back to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> No w~itten or oral protests having been received, on motion <br /> of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, the matter <br /> <br /> of rezoning the northwest co~ner of Washington and Bristol <br /> described as Lots A1 and A2, Tract No. ?§8, <br /> Streets/from Neighborhood Business Zone to Single Family <br /> <br /> Residence Zone, was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the property described as Lots A1 and A2, Tract No. 758 was <br /> ordered rezoned from Neighborhoo~ Business Zone to Single <br /> Family Residence Zone and the City Attorney to prepare the <br /> necessary Ordinance for change of zone. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, <br /> the adoption of the Ordinance to change the zone on certain <br /> property was deferred and the application of Wm. Ulm to erect <br /> a duplex on property described as the West AO feet of Lot 15 <br /> and the East 10 feet of Lot 16, Keese Addition, was referred <br /> to the Planning Commission for recommendation. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the recommendation of the Planning Commission was concurred <br /> with and action deferred for two weeks on the application of <br /> Wm. Ulmo <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> The communication from Mrs. J.M. Backs and Family express- <br /> ing appreciation and gratefully acknowledging Santa Aha Offi- <br /> cials' expression of sympathy, was received and filed. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the request of the Santa Aha Lumber Company to cross West <br />Third Street Just east of Artesia Street, with an electric <br />power line sufficient to operate a motor for a cut-off saw, <br />was granted under supervision of the Electrical Inspector and <br />on condition that they enter into an agreement with the City <br />covering any damages involving Santa Aha. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the communication of the Federal Music Project Advisory Com- <br />mittee urging the public support of the symphony orchestra <br />concerts to be given, starting the evening of November 4th in <br /> <br />the High School Auditorium, <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, <br /> <br />was received and filed. <br /> <br />seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> <br />the communication of Flake Smith was received, acknowledged <br />and filed, explainin~ the location of his windbreak on West <br />First Street near Sullivan Street as being at the edge of the <br />street when First Street is widened. <br /> <br /> <br />
