Flower St. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br /> the monthly reports of the various city officers for the <br /> month of October, were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to the <br /> demands numbering from 10%9 to 1263 inclusive, as audited by <br /> the Finance CommitteeC <br /> <br /> On ~ecommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of <br /> Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, action was <br /> deferred for two weeks on the application of James G. Smith <br /> to construct a four unit apartment building on the Northeast <br /> corner of Eighth and Sarnsey Streets. <br /> <br /> The recommendation of the Planning Commission was read rela- <br /> tive to the petition of property owners for change in zone <br /> from single family residence to business on the north side of <br /> Santa Aha Boulevard from Main Street to Chapman Avenue. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br /> the petition for rezoning of north side of Santa Ana Boule- <br /> vard, was referred back to the Planning Commission for fur- <br /> ther consideration until the Zoning Ordinance is revised. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana, regulating the <br /> erection, construction, repair, enlargement, alteration, <br /> removal, demolition, sanitation and occupancy of all <br /> buildings and structures in said City, providing for <br /> permits and p~nalties thereunder and repealing Ordinance <br /> No. 1036" <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for <br />second reading. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> <br />a Resolution accepting deeds to the City of Santa Ana of por- <br />tions of right-of-way for widening North Flower Street on the <br />West side between Eighth Street and Washington Avenue, was <br />read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2537 and passed <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Plummet W. <br /> Bruno, Joseph P. Smith, Fred C.
