Council Chambers Santa Ana City Hall. December 6th, 1937. 7:50 P.M. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Rowland. Present: Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W.H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, iPred C. Rowland. Absent: Trustees None. Each Trustee having received a copy of the Minutes; further reading of the Minutes of November 15th and 22nd, 1957, was dispensed with and the Minutes were approved on motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried. In Re Application Walter L. & Hazel Bungs. In Re Communication Or. Go.League of Mun~ipalities. In Re Communication Auto Club of Sou.Calif. In Re Request--Or. Co. Tuberculosis & Health Assn. In Re Communication On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the application of Walter L. & Hazel Bungs for permission to remodel residence at 1607 E. First Street into a duplex, was referred to the Planning Commissi on. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and the property at 1607 E. First Street was ordered posted for special use and the hearing date set December 20th, 19~? in accordance with the application of Walter L.& Hazel # On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the communication of the Orange County League of Municipali- ties relative to the November-December meeting to be held at 6;50 P.M., December 9th, in the basement of the Presbyterian Church at the corner of Main and Center Streets, Placentia, was received and filed and members of the Council and City officials urged to attend. # On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the communication of the Automobile Club of Southern Califor- nia suggesting methods of lessening traffic collisions by prohibiting left turns at intersections of major streets when traffic is heaviemt, was received and refer~ed to the Traffic Safety Commission and the Clerk instructed to answer s~e. #. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, the request of the Orange County Tuberculosis & Health Asso- ciation for permission to conduct one or more booth for the sale of Christmas Seals in Santa Aha, was referred to the Chief of Police with power to act. # 0n motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the communication of the Federated Missionary Societies of Federated Missionary Societies.
