APPROVED: next regular meeting cf the Council. . On motion of Trustee Layton, the City Council adjourned. seconded by Bruno and carried, C~tyY Clerk. Council Chambers Santa Ana City Hall. December 20th, 1937. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Rowland. Present: Trustees Pl,,mmer W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn, Ernest H, Layton, Fred C. Rowland. Absent: Trustees None. Each Trustee having received a copy of the Minutes, further reading of the Minutes of December 6th, 1937, was dispensed with and the Minutes were approved on motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried. In Re Appointment Civil Service Board. In Re Application Walter L. & Hazel Bunge. In Re A~plicatlon Mark A. Dalton, M.D. 7:30 P.M. Mayor Rowland appointed the following as members of the Civil Service Board: Clyde Ashen--term to expire December 31st, 1939. Phil Brown---term to expire December 31st, 1941. George Parker--term to expire December 31st, 19A3. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, the appointments of the Civil Service Board as named by Mayor Rowland, were ratified. . No written or oral protests having been received, on motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the appli- cation of Walter L. & Hazel Bunge for a permit to remodel residence into duplex, located at 1807 E. First Street, was referred back to the Planning Commission. On motion of Trustee Stuns, seconded by Smith and carried, the recommenda~on of the Planning Commission was concurred with and the application of Walter L. & Hazel Bunge was granted under special use to remodel residence into duplex on property described as the south 116 feet of Lot 3, Block A, Gardner Villa Tract. # On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of Mark A. Dalton, M.D. for a temporary doc- tot's office at the southeast corner of Bush and Seventeenth Streets, described as Lot 1, Block B, Goodwin's Addition, ~oeP1Anning $ommis~lon ....
