No. 2520 <br /> <br />Ordering Improvemen~ <br /> <br />to Abandon Portion of <br />Santa Ana Boulevard. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconied by Smith and carried, the <br />City Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids covering one <br />triple combination 1000 gallon Dumping engine as per specifi- <br />cations on file in the Auditor's office, bids to be opened <br />Nay 17th, 1937. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the <br />Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to examine the <br />prices and specifications on motor grader submitted to the <br />Auditor and make resommendation back to the Council. Trus- <br />tees Layton, Penn, City Engineer and Auditor were appointed <br />as the committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the condensed report of the City Auditor covering work in <br />progress during the month of ~larch on the Metropolitan Water <br />District, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, <br />the report of the committee <br /> <br />seconded by Smith and carried, <br />appointed on the regulation of <br /> <br />awnings was accepted recommending that no change be made in <br />our Ordinance. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution concerning Parking Limitations under <br /> Ordinance No. 1030" <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2519 and <br />passed by the following vote:: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, <br /> W. H. Penn, Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees Ernest H. Layton. <br /> <br />This being the time and place set forth in Resolution of <br />Intention No. 2515 that the public interest and convenience <br />requires the work hereinafter described and the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Ana hereby order the following work to <br />be done and improvement made in the City of Santa Ana as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> To order the abandonment of a portion of a certain street <br />known as Santa Ana Boulevard within said City, which portion <br />of said street is described as being a certain portion of <br />the property over which there exists an easement for slope <br />and/or revetment work. <br /> <br />No person appearing to protest or object to the work as set <br />forth in Resolution No. 2520 and no written protests having <br />been filed, a resolution was introduced ordering the imp <br />ment. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and <br />carried, the resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, <br />designated Resolution Ordering Improvement No. 2520 and <br /> <br />passed by t~e following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
