On motion of Trustee Penn, seconied by Smith and carried, the City Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids covering one triple combination 1000 gallon Dumping engine as per specifi- cations on file in the Auditor's office, bids to be opened Nay 17th, 1937. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to examine the prices and specifications on motor grader submitted to the Auditor and make resommendation back to the Council. Trus- tees Layton, Penn, City Engineer and Auditor were appointed as the committee. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the condensed report of the City Auditor covering work in progress during the month of ~larch on the Metropolitan Water District, was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Bruns, the report of the committee seconded by Smith and carried, appointed on the regulation of awnings was accepted recommending that no change be made in our Ordinance. . On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution concerning Parking Limitations under Ordinance No. 1030" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2519 and passed by the following vote:: Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn, Fred C. Rowland. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees Ernest H. Layton. This being the time and place set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 2515 that the public interest and convenience requires the work hereinafter described and the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby order the following work to be done and improvement made in the City of Santa Ana as follows: To order the abandonment of a portion of a certain street known as Santa Ana Boulevard within said City, which portion of said street is described as being a certain portion of the property over which there exists an easement for slope and/or revetment work. No person appearing to protest or object to the work as set forth in Resolution No. 2520 and no written protests having been filed, a resolution was introduced ordering the imp ment. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, designated Resolution Ordering Improvement No. 2520 and passed by t~e following vote:
