B~uns, Joseph P. Smith, <br /> W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees None.- <br /> <br />Each Trustee having received a copy of the Minutes, <br />further reading of the Minutes of May 5rd, 1957, <br />was dispensed with and the Minutes approved on <br />motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Smith and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Mrs. Roy Corry. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids on <br /> <br />Fire Pumping Engine. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication--Calif. <br /> <br />Bafety Council, Inc. <br /> <br />No written or oral protests having been filed, on motion of <br />Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the application <br />of Mrs. Roy Corry for a permit to conduct a camp ground for <br />camp cars and/or trailers at Sullivan and First Streets, wac <br />referred back to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of <br />'Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the applica- <br />tion of Mrs. Roy Corry was granted under special use, to con- <br />duct a camp ground for camp cars and/or trailers on property <br />described as follows: Commencing at a point l~0 feet South <br />of the N.E. corner of Section 10, Township § S., Range l0 W. <br />S.B.B.M. thence West parallel to First Street 280 feet; <br />thence South l~0 feet; thence East 260 feet; thence North <br /> <br />IA0 feet to the point of beginning, excepting therefrom the <br />area included~within Sullivan Street. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion Of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />proceed to open bids for one triple combination 1000 gallon <br /> <br /> pumping engine as follows: <br /> <br />Knox & Stout Hardware Co. <br />General Fire Truck Corp. <br />~rens-Fox Fire Engine Co. <br />American-LaFrance & Foamite Industries <br />Seagrave Corp. <br /> <br /> $12,760.00 sales tax include <br /> ~1~,500~00 $11,250.00 plus <br /> 13,0A~.O0 " <br /> 1A,46@.00 ~,21~.00 " <br /> 11,535.00 # <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the bids on fire pumping engine were taken under advisement <br />and referred to a committee of Trustees Penn, Bruns and <br />Layton and the Purchasing Agent. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Mayor Rowland asked to be excused and on motion Of Trustee <br />Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, TruStee Penn was <br />appointed Mayor Pro Tem. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the communica~ion of the Calif. Safety Council, Inc. relative <br />to supporting Assembly Bill ~2063, which is the first step <br />toward highway accident prevention, was referred to the <br />Traffic Safety Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />
