Lentz as motorcycle officer of the <br />City, was accepted with regrets and allowing fifteen days <br />vacation with pay and the Clerk was instructed to write a <br />letter of appreciation of his loyal services. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the communication of the Veterans' Welfare Board with peti- <br />tion attached for the cancellation of taxes on four pieces <br />of property within the City, was received and petition grants <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the applications of electrical contractors for permits to <br />hang electrical signs, were granted under supervision of the <br />Electrical Inspector at the following locations: <br /> <br />B.J. Cofflng Company <br />Walker's Liquor Store <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, <br /> <br />426 W. 4th St. <br />~11 E. §th St. <br />506AN. ~ain St. <br /> <br />seconded by BrUns and carried, <br /> <br /> the application of Kenneth F. Stows for a per, it to d~ive <br /> taxicab for the Courtesy Cab Company, was granted on recom- <br /> mendation of the Taxicab Commission. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, <br /> t~he application of J. J. Ha~dman for permission to sell <br /> second hand clothing and shoes at 412 E. B. Smith and R. K.
