Main Street, <br />was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the applications of electrical contractors for permits to <br />hang electrical signs, were granted under supervision of the <br /> <br />Electrical Inspector at the <br /> <br />Bartelson & Wilson <br />R. Heno <br />Bee's Beauty Box <br />Sayer's Linen Stores <br />S.J. Gish Cafe <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, <br /> <br />following locations: <br /> <br />212 S. Main St. <br />715 N. Main St. <br />306 W. 5th St. <br />210 W. 4th St. <br />518 E. 4th St. <br /> <br />seconded by Layton and carried, <br /> <br />the applications of W. B. Smith, Henry L. Hunton, Robert E. <br />Gibson, Chester D. Carlisle and Paul Hill for transfer of <br />permits to drive taxicabs for the Blue Cab Company, were <br />granted on recommendation of the Taxicab Commission. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign an agreement <br />with Bartelson and Wilson covering the construction of an <br />electric sign at 212 S. Main Street, which extends over the <br />five foot se't-back line established on S. Main Street. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the certified check of the Seagrave Corporation in the <br />of $1155.00 accompanying bid on fire pumping engine, was <br />ordered returned when bond for the same amount is filed to <br /> <br />cover. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the demand of Earl C. Hall in the amount of $3484.00 for <br />alleged d~mages for personal injuries received in front of <br />premises known as 1026 W. Fourth Street, Santa Ana, was <br />referred to the City Attorney and Street Superintendent. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Perm, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />Chas. D. Swanner was reappointed as a member of the Library <br />Board for the full term beginning July 1st, 1937. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Clerk was instructed to advise Mrs. E.
