No. 2527 Gas Tax Expenditure on Street of Major Importance. and on motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried the property at 801 French Street was ordered posted for special use and the hearing date set July 6th, 1937, in acco'. ance with the application of Dr. W. A. Harris. ,, On motion of Trustee Bruns, ~econded by Layton and carried, the motion made at the meeting of the City Council held June 7th, 1937, referring the application of J. Milbrat to con- struct a drive-in-market at the northwest corner of First and Shelton Street, back to the Planning Commission for recommend ation, was reconsidered. On motic~ of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the application of J. Milbrat to construct drive-in-market at the northwest corner of First and Shelton Streets, was granted and the City Attorney instructed to prepare ordinance to change the zone from residential zone to neighborhood busines zo ne. # On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the property of John Spykerman and Ottilie Spykerman covering .476 of an acre of land fronting on N. Main Street and being a part of Section 6, Township 5, Range 9 West, S.B.B. & M., to be purchased and the Clerk authorized to draw warrant in amount of $2500.00 in favor of the Orange County Title Compar~ dated July 1st, 1937, covering the purchase. On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana approving Memorandum of Agreement for expenditure of 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for State Highways" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2526 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees Joseph P. Smith. # On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana approving Memorandum of Agreement for expenditure of 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for Streets of Major Importance" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2527 and passed by the following vote: l~ves, Trustees Plummer W.
