On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution accepting gran~ deed from John Spykerman and Ottilie Sp~kerman" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2527 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees Joseph P. Smith. . On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance amending 0rdinauce No. 1030, entitled 'An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana regulating the use of public highways within said City'" was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1048 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland. Trustees None. Noes, Absent, Trustees Joseph P. Smith. On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, the City Engineer was authorized to employ a man to con~act property owners for the purpose of establishing coats of right-of-way for the opening of South Broadway to Delhi Road. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the annual report of the City Auditor for the fiscal year 1936-57, was received and referred to the Council as a whole. On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the City Council adjourned to Tuesday, July 6th, 1937, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber. APPROVED: Mayor of the City of Santa Aua.
