Ball & Family. <br /> <br />Council Chambers. <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall. <br /> <br />July 6th, 1937. ?:30 <br /> <br />No written or oral protests were presented and on motion of <br />Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the a!}plica- <br />tion of Dr. W. A. Harris to Conduct his office at 801 French <br />Street, was referred to the Planning Commission. The recom- <br />mendation of the Planning Commission was read and on mot ion <br />of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the appli- <br />cation of Dr. W. A. Harris was granted to conduct his office <br />at 801 French Street, under special use. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the application of Floyd B. Smith to have the property at the <br />southwest co~ner of First and Shelton Streets rezoned to per- <br />mit a drive-in cafe, was referred to the Planning Commission. <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion <br />of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, the property <br />at the southwest corner of First and Shelton Streets was <br />ordered posted for neighborhood business zone and the hearing <br />date set July 19th, 1937, in accordance with the spplication <br />of Floyd B. Smith to conduct a drive-in cafe. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the application of E. B. Moritz Foundry for a permit to con- <br />struct a building to he used for foundry and machine shop on <br />Lots 22, 23, 12 and 13, Block F, Santa Ana Tract, which is <br />located on South Main Street,125 feet south Of Central Avenue <br />was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of <br />Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, the property <br />known as Lots 22, 23, 12 and 13, Block F, Santa Ana Tract, <br />was ordered posted for heavy industrial zone and the hearing <br />date set July 19th, 1937, in accordance with the ~ppllcation <br />of E.B. Moritz Foundry to construct a building to be used <br />for foundry and ~achine shop. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the communication of Mrs. C. D. Ball and family expressing <br />appreciation and acknowledging the Council's expression of <br /> <br /> <br />
