Blodget, City Atty. <br /> <br />sympathy, was received and fi led. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the communication of the Fire Chief of the City of Spokane <br />relative to the Pacific Coast Association of Fire Chiefs <br />conducting a Fire College in Spokane on August llth to 14th, <br />1937, was referred to the Fire Commissioner. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the communication of the Chamber of Commerce was received, <br />acknowledged and filed and the Chair was empowered to appoint <br />a coordinating committee to work with a similar committee of <br />the Chamber of Commerce on propositions requiring joint <br />ity. Trustees Smith ~nd Penn were appointed as the committee <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the request of business men in the 200 block Bush Street for <br />the removal of trees in this Block is to be come, lied with and <br />the trees to be removed under supervision of the Park Supt. <br /> <br />On mo~ion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the application of E. L. French to conduct gospel services <br />beginning Saturday, July 10th, for an indefinite period of <br />time, at either the northeast corner of Fourth and Spurgeon <br />Street or the northwest comer of Fourth and French Streets, <br />was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the report of the curator of the Charles W.
