Vegely, City Clerk, was granted permission to leave <br /> <br />the State for a period of 30 days begin~i~ July 8th, 1937. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to Investlgat <br />the acquiring of tax delinquent property held by the State. <br />Trustees Smith and Penn were appointed as the committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the report of the committee on the condition of lots and <br />sidewalks after cutting of weeds in the area from Maple to <br />Patton Streets and from Delhi Road north, stating that same <br /> <br />had been cleaned up, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee <br />the report of <br />widening of N. <br />was accepted. <br /> <br />was accepted and comuittee discharged. <br /> <br /> Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the committee, appointed to investigate the <br /> <br /> Flower Street between Eighth and Washington, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, secor~ied by Smith and carried, <br />the City, through the Engineer's office, proceed to secure <br />right-of-way for an additional seven feet on the west side <br />of Flower Street, same to be executed gratis, and that the <br />City Engineer proceed at once to apply for a project to <br />W.P.Ao to widen Flower Street from Eighth to Washington Ave- <br />nue to an approximate thirty-nine foot roadway, install curb <br />and three foot parkway, and four foot sidewalks. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of <br /> <br />Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the property <br />when fee of $5.00 is filed, <br />at 2005 S. Main Street was ordered posted for special use/and <br /> <br />the hearing date set July 19th, 1937, in compliance with the <br />application of Charles Mosher for a permit to conduct the <br />business of selling auto trailers. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance ~mending the Plumbing Code of the City of <br />Santa Aha, as adopted by Ordinance No. 821 entitled 'An <br />Ordinance providing for the ~ppointment of a Plumbing <br />Inspector, defini~ his duties and fixing his compensation; <br />regulating the method of constructing plumbing work, house <br />drainage, and gas fitting, providing for the inspection <br />thereof and the issuance of permits therefor; and providing <br />a penalty for the violation of said Ordinance '" <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for <br />second reading. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance regulating the use of devices and/or <br /> apparatus which interferes with radio broadcasting <br /> ~eception, in the City of Santa Ana, repealing all <br /> <br /> <br />
