Martin. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the application of M. P. Cumberworth for a permit to erect a <br />duplex on North Flower Street, being Lot 3, Tract 200, was <br />referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of <br />Trustee. Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the property <br />described as Lot 3, Tract 250, was ordered posted for special <br />use and hearing date set August ?,nd, 19Z?, in accordance with <br />the application of M. Cumberworth to erect duplex. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the application of Ralph Jones, Chief Mentor of the Knights <br />and Daughters of Tabor, for a free license and electrical <br />permit for W.F. 'Babcock to show and display a carnival at <br />1525-27 W. Third Street, August 2nd to 8th, 1937, inclusive, <br />was referred to the Police Commissioner and Chief with power <br /> <br />to act. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee <br />the com~unication of <br /> <br />Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the E1 Rodeo Riding Club, Ltd. express- <br /> <br />lng appreciation for the City's contribution towards' their <br />trip to San Francisco to assist in the celebration of the <br />opening of the Golden Gate Bridge, was received, filed and <br />acknowledged. <br /> <br />On mot ion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />R.A..Dilkey was appointed as a special police officer to work <br />as crossing guard f~r the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br /> <br />Ray A.
