Main <br />installed under the supervision <br /> <br />seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> <br />the request of Robert P. Eellogg, Captain l@5th Infantry, <br />for a donation of $200.00 to the mess fund of Company "L" <br />during encampment, was granted and Clerk instructed to draw <br />warrant for said amount. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the communications of the Los Angeles County 1937 Admission <br />Day Committee extending an invitation to the City to partici- <br />pate in Santa Monica's celebration of Admission Day, by <br />entering a float, band or other sui~able parade units, was <br />referred to the Standing Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the applications of the Santa Ana Neon Company to hang elec- <br />tric signs, were granted under supervision of the Electrical <br />Inspector at the following locations: <br /> <br />L. B. Beck <br />Bill Squyres <br />Flowerland <br />Sanders & Bonds <br /> <br />Cafe <br /> <br />410 N. Broadway <br />112 N. Main St. <br />510 N. Broadway <br />109 E. 6th St. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the invitation of the NorthernYuma County Chamber of Commerce <br />and associated chambers, to Mayor Rowland to attend the <br />official dedication of the Bridge at Parker, September 25th <br />and 26th, 1937, was referred to the Mayor for disposition. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the financial Statement of the Library Board for the fiscal <br />year ending June 30th, 1937, submitted by Harry L.
